Where to start? A little about me... I feel like I am a 15 year old playing the part of a 30-something! :) I still find it unreal that I have a "real" job, a mortgage, bills and a small human to raise! I pride myself on always looking for the funny in any situation, and I like to think my sense of humor is one of my best traits.
I am nursing a serious shopping addiction - which is partly why I started my blog. I mean, I can shop for ANYTHING. Clothing, shoes, cars, houses. appliances...you name it, I love to shop for it. LOL But the funny thing is, I HATE to spend money. Quite the oxymoron, no? I am a bargain shopper, who will hit the sales and clearance racks first, and I usually come away with some great items for great prices. As my home pages states, I am rather tall (5'10"), so shopping can pose some challenges. I think this is why I love to shop. Since it can be difficult to find things that fit, it's almost like a victory when I do find those items.
So, I'm hoping that this blog will serve a few purposes....1) to help me cut back on shopping, 2) to help me "shop" my closet more effectively, 3) to have a kind of visual journey of my style and appearance. Let's face it, sometimes the mirror will lie but the camera, the camera will reveal the naked (or clothed) truth!
